On Monday we had an English lesson. We had to write a letter to a president of Honduras or to presidents of other countries and say to them that they should protect a group of people or release a man we don’t know from a prison, only reading a small paper where the main things about them were written.
I think this is not right because we are only children and we don’t know enough about the case, human rights and the law especially in other countries. I think there were many lawyers involved in these cases and we don’t even know that there was only truth on the paper. I think this is not the correct way to change conditions in other countries which are less social and this is just a nice example of manipulating with children’s political opinion.
If you want to judge cases like these, you need to find your own proofs because each side will lie to you.
